Ketamine Therapy

Ketamine treatment is an evidence-based option that may be suitable for selected mental health and pain presentations following specialist assessment. It may be considered for people whose symptoms continue despite standard treatment, after a comprehensive review.

Ketamine therapy is understood to work on pathways involved in mood regulation and pain processing. Where clinically appropriate, it may form part of a structured plan that can also support opioid reduction. At our Gold Coast location, outpatient ketamine infusion treatment is provided in a monitored clinical setting and overseen by specialist clinicians.

A stellate ganglion block is a targeted injection of local anaesthetic near sympathetic nerves in the neck that influence the body’s stress response. By reducing overactivity in these nerves, the procedure may support selected individuals experiencing PTSD or selected pain conditions.

Treatment is delivered in a monitored clinical setting following screening for suitability. Response may vary, and a series of blocks may be recommended as part of a broader, evidence-aligned treatment plan.
